South Carolina

2022 Update:

CarolinaMeditation.org (http://carolinameditation.org/) will become our portal for Buddhist temples in North and South Carolina, but it is still a work in progress! This personal photo blog will still exist, as far as we can know though! We’ve updated the links to photo albums and added brief descriptions.

This small house appears to have been sold already, so not sure if this temple still exists or moved.

A fairly large Cambodian / Khmer temple!

Wat Khotesaram, Inman SC, 2014

Wat Khosetaram SC

This place looked like a dilapidated trailer when I visited, and according to Zillow, seems to have been sold in 2020, so it’s probably defunct by now. (There was also signs of Christian vandalization.) Not to worry, the two other Cambodian temples nearby appear to be still in existence!

Another impressive Cambodian monastery, of course with a fancy entry gate. Are there that many Khmer people that there’s two Cambodian temples so close to each other in small town South Carolina?
