A Dalai Lama Library and Museum is planned with construction starting soon at this location, aiming to preserve and digitize all of his His Holiness’s teachings over the years for generations to come.

Update: A new building was constructed by 2018 (partially tearing down parts of the existing small one) to make this more into a proper temple, though it is still small compared to churches.

This was my first event seeing the (probably paid and possibly fake) monks and nuns of the “New Kadampa Tradition” protesting loudly outside with angry chants and signs and flyers trying to smear the Dalai Lama… just ignore them!
